Our role
Service Zone is a matching platform. We help customers share a request with suitable tradies, but we do not perform the trade work and are not a party to the agreement between a customer and tradie.
Quotes, work and payment
The customer and tradie are responsible for discussing scope, timing, licences, insurance, price, payment and any warranty before work begins. Customers pay tradies directly; Service Zone does not currently process payment.
Tradie verification
Service Zone may check phone, email and ABN details before approving a tradie. A verification check is not a guarantee of availability, workmanship, licensing, insurance or suitability for a particular job. Customers should make their own checks.
Acceptable use
Information submitted must be accurate and lawful. Users must not misuse contact details, submit dangerous or deceptive content, interfere with the platform or use it to harass another person.
Safety and emergencies
Service Zone is not an emergency service. Call 000 for any immediate threat to life or property. Do not approach electrical, gas, fire, structural or other hazards while waiting for a tradie.
